One tailor, one workshop

When you call, you speak to the person who does the sewing.

Ebrahim Javid Tab Pasand

Cut & Fit is not a chain and not a shop with changing staff. It is one workshop and one tailor — I take your garment in, I sew it, and I hand it back to you. That is why I can tell you on the phone what something costs and when it will be ready. There is nobody in between who would have to ask first.

How I work

The garment always goes on. A pair of trousers lying on the table tells you nothing about where they end on you — so they get pinned, not calculated from a table.

The thread belongs to the cloth. Colour, weight, material: there is a reason a wall of thread reels stands here instead of three standard colours.

Sewing happens on industrial machines. They go through a double denim seam without hesitating and lay a stitch you still will not notice in two years.

And when something cannot be done, I say so. An honest no beforehand beats work you are not happy with afterwards.

From the workshop

Marked out and cut
Shortened, the original edge stays
The industrial machine
The matching thread, not a standard colour
Collar and lining

Bring it in — or I collect it.

One phone call is enough. I will tell you what it costs and when it will be ready.
